Funko is a company that makes pop culture figurines, which have taken the world by storm. The Seattle-based company has licensing deals with popular movie franchises like Star Wars and Harry Potter, as well as comic book properties like Spiderman and Captain America. It also keeps its finger on the pulse of fads and memes, making figures of the “This is fine” dog and Cocaine Bear.
Funko’s most popular product line is the Pop! vinyl figures, which are stylized versions of popular characters from movies, TV shows, and video games. They’re recognizable by their rounded, chibi-style design. They’re sold individually and in sets with a stylized version of a landmark building from the source material, such as the Ghostbusters’ headquarters or the Nightmare Before Christmas’ clock tower.
The 17,000-square-foot flagship store in Everett has an entire room devoted to these Pops and a large selection of other products. There’s even a place where you can make your own Funko character, called the Pop Factory. It costs $25 per figure and you can pick gender, skin color, accessories (such as luggage or a light saber), clothing and shoes. You can even choose to have it hold a mini-Funko, book, jewelry or coffee cup.
Electrosonic designed and installed multiple LED displays at the funko store, including a 12-feet diameter hanging halo display and two half-column wrap displays. They’re powered by Nanolumens and Unilumin technology. The displays enhance the ambiance and create an immersive experience for guests visiting the store. funko store
